About Us 
ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia.  As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provide defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. About the Role
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of all necessary support services and supervision of the day-to-day running of the dental facility. You will manage the practice in relation to administration, quality systems, budgetary requirements and staffing matters and enable the delivery of high-quality dental healthcare to patients in accordance with Australian Standards and Defence Policies and Procedures. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

•    The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
•    Diploma in Practice Management OR a minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience as Practice Manager within the last 5 years
•    Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. 
•    Demonstrated management skills such as leadership, staff development, and conflict resolution. 
 

About Wagga Health Centre
The Wagga Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Wagga at Forest Hill, South-East of Wagga Wagga and has been an integral part of the community since 1940.  Known as the “Home of the Airman”, it houses the RAAF schools of Technical Training, Administration & Logistics and Postgraduate Studies.  Services provided include primary medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy.  Health Centre staff may be required to work across Wagga & Kapooka. Standard hours of operation are generally 0700-1600 Monday to Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).

 

About You
As an experienced Practice Manager, you are able to utilise your leadership and organisational skills to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care. You thrive in a busy environment and are an excellent multi-tasker who implements and oversees procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and quality systems. Your people skills mean you are equally comfortable managing staff and interacting with patients and you take great pride in being the face of a facility to those in its care.  You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
