About the Role
As the Enrolled Nurse at Robertson Health Centre, you will provide outpatient assessment and health promotion services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assess care levels required for patients and set priorities accordingly, initiate treatment for minor injuries and illnesses and be available to take last-minute shifts, ensuring flexible and responsive healthcare delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• At least 2 years’ full-time post-registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), in an acute care, primary healthcare, or military setting.
• Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
• A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance
About the Location
Edinburgh Health Centre is located 25km North of Adelaide, at RAAF Base Edinburgh, SA.
This super-base house 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF and is home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine, currently staffed by uniformed and civilian medical staff. The health centre consists of a 16-bed inpatient facility, staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, along with general medical, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical, and minor surgical services. The Standard Operating hours of the centre are 0730-1530, Monday-Friday.
