Because we’re committed to supporting both our patients and our people, we’ve built a solid recruitment process to help you feel confident in your new career pathway. You can find more information below about the journey from application to the end of the recruitment process.

1. Learn and Discover
This is all about supporting you to learn about the roles we have available and equipping you with all the information you need before you apply. If you aren’t ready to apply for a role, we encourage you to express interest, and someone will be in contact to answer your questions and help match you to the role.
2. Apply
Once you’ve found the right role and location, it’s time to apply online. This is your opportunity to share with us who you are, your strengths, and why you want to work for ADF Health Services.
3. Interview
If successful, you will progress to an interview team. Our clinical credentialing team will progress your application to ensure you meet the requirements of the role. We’ll support you throughout this process.
4. Conditional Offer and Pre-Employment Checks
This is the exciting bit—where you receive a call to offer you a conditional role with ADF Health Services. It’s conditional because we still need to undertake pre-employment and security checks, which take approximately 3 months to complete.
5. Final Offer and Onboarding
You’ll receive your letter of offer, and we’ll manage all the administration as quickly as possible. You’ll need to complete pre-commencement training at home. This is a Defence requirement, to make sure we equip you with everything you need, and that we maintain the integrity of the bases. You’ll be paid an allowance to compensate for your time.
